  Appointment Topics

Appointment topics are an extremely important aspect of Hallways, as they are used in several summary and demographic reports. They can be edited from any window in which a topic appears, or by selecting Set Defaults > Topics from the Tools menu.

Clicking here will associate the topic with the indicated service category

Example: The Abuse topic is associated with Responsive Services.

Topics can be assigned to a Service Category. When you create an appointment, associated topics will be listed in the Appointment Note.

If you do not want a topic assigned only to a single Service Category, select “None.” The topic will appear in all topic lists.

Referrals and Consultations access all topics, regardless of the category to which they are assigned.

Possible topics of student appointments and counseling sessions have been pre-loaded into Hallways.
