Hallways utilizes the ASCA National Model Student Standards in student evaluations, counseling plans, and appointment notes. Student standards are comprised of Domains, Standards, Competencies, and Indicators.
Student appointments and appointment notes directly integrate with the counseling plan. Group and multiple student appointments also use ASCA National Model Components. While factored into ASCA summary reports, indicators used in these appointments do not have to be listed in each student’s counseling plan.

ASCA Student Standards
The
information contained in the Add Counseling Goals window and other
areas of Hallways is defined by the American School Counseling
Association (ASCA). Although this information can be edited, doing
so will affect all counseling records and could impact the validity
of your records. It is strongly recommended that you do not edit the
underlying ASCA component references.
