Frequently Asked Questions
Why is this software so cheap? Does that mean it's a cheap
product?
Absolutely not. We're totally confident in the quality of our software. We price
it as low as we can in order to make it widely available and affordable.
What if I don't like it? Can I return it?
Unfortunately, no. However, you can transfer your license to another user.
What's the difference between Hallways and SCAATAP?
Although
SCAATAP is a good program, Hallways offers many more features for the same
price. You can view a comparison of the programs by clicking

I use a laptop and a desktop computer. Can I use Hallways on
both?
Yes. You
can install your copy of Hallways on up to 3 computers, but only for your own
use. You can update and transfer your data so
you'll always have up-to-date information no matter where you're working.
Can I give a copy Hallways to other counselors at my
school/district?
No,
they'll have to purchase their own copy, but they may qualify for a discounted
price. We do make one exception about sharing: if more than one counselor uses a
single computer, they can share the program. However, the reports generated in
Hallways carry only one counselor name.
How secure is my data?
Every
copy of Hallways is password protected. Once you receive your copy, you can set
your own password at any time. As well, the actual data is encrypted, doubly
protecting your information.
Can I import student data, or do I have to enter all the
student information again?
Since
our basic precept is to eliminate duplicate entry, we supply our clients with
the Hallways Import Utility at no charge. This utility gives full directions for
organizing your current student data, then imports it from Microsoft Excel
directly into Hallways.
