Please read the
following before downloading the trial version:
Pathways 7 is
compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10. To use Pathways on a Mac, you must have Windows
installed on your Mac or a software program that allows you to
use Windows based programs.
Download and Installation Instructions
Download the Pathways 7 Trial
Version by clicking the download button.
Locate the downloaded folder. Click "Extract All Files." You can
use the suggested location for the extracted files; you just need to
know where they are.
Locate the setup file in the extracted folder, and double-click
it to start the setup process.
BEFORE you can run Pathways 7, you'll need to
make sure that you have Access 2010 Service Pack 2 installed.
You will be prompted to
download Microsoft Access 2010 Runtime during installation if you do
not already have it installed.
Once it's installed, open Microsoft Access 2010
Under the File Tab, click Help,
then click Additional Version and Copyright Information.

If you do not have Access 2010
Service Pack 2 installed, Pathways 7 will not run on
your computer. Use Control Panel > Windows Updates to get the latest
updates and Service Pack 2.
If you have SP2 installed,
you're ready to download and install Pathways 7. If not, you'll need
to install the updates before starting the Pathways 7 Demo.
Installing Updates for Access 2010 Runtime
In Control Panel, click Windows
Update. In the Updates window, click Change Settings. You’ll see a
window similar to the one below. Make sure that the “Give me updates
for other Microsoft products when I update Windows” box is checked,
then click “OK.”
Now, click “Check for Updates.”
You will be prompted to get the latest updates for Microsoft Access
2010. Choose to install the updates, and restart your computer when
prompted.
Congratulations! You’ve now
completed the Pathways 7 installation, and are ready to start the
program.
Starting Pathways
Double-click the Pathways 7
icon on your desktop to begin.
Depending on your computer’s
security settings, you may see a message similar to the following:
Click Open to continue. There
are no issues with Pathways that will adversely affect your
computer. This is a standard Windows security warning.
If you receive this security
warning when opening Pathways, click Enable Content. This message
will only appear once.
The initial password for
Pathways 7 is "pathways" without the quotation marks. The
Pathways 7
Manual included in your download contains more information about
starting and using Pathways.
